Tonight – New Things Are Forming

At the Art Hospital tonight, join us for the opening reception of Josh Highter’s exhibition “New Things Are Forming.”

Josh Highter is a recent graduate of the MFA painting program at IU. Since graduation, Josh spent some time traveling in Italy and Greece, most notably Thessaloniki where he witnessed the mass riots that took place in 2008. This experience has had a dramatic impact on his work.

Highter’s work uses collage and draws from his experience as a painter to produce stormy landscape images that are beautiful and unnerving at once.
